Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!)
At Linwood Community Church, we believe that it’s our responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great worship, encouraging messages, friendly people and the loving atmosphere that are a part of LCC. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. Here is a quick look at a few questions you may ask:Q. Is there something for my kids?
A. We have a quality preschool and children's Bible teaching programs based upon the Gospel Light curriculum. All children are taught in a safe and secure environment. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously.
They're going to have a blast, but most importantly, they're going to learn about God and His love for them.
Q. Where is the Church?
A. We are located at 1838 Shore Road in Linwood, NJ
Q. What should I wear when I come?
A. You should wear what you're comfortable with. We figure God's concerned about what our insides are like, so we really don't get too uptight about what's on the outside. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7
Q. What should I expect when I come to Linwood Community Church?
A. The first thing you should expect is to be greeted by friendly people who will make you feel very welcome. From classrooms and finding your way into the Sanctuary, to getting your children to our kids' programs, you'll find that we've been waiting for you, and we're glad you're here.
1. You should expect to feel valued. You matter to God, so you matter to us.
2. You should expect to be accepted for who you are. All comers are welcome.
3. You should expect to be inspired. Why would you want to invest your time to be discouraged? There’s plenty of that to go around during the week.
4. You should expect to be challenged. Growth = change. No one can grow without change, and few people change without being challenged.
5. You should expect to find partners and friends to help you in your life journey. Everything is more fun when you’re part of a team.
6. You should expect excellence in everything. God spared nothing in giving the best He had for us. We will give our best for you.
